Learn to DJ Afrobeats in 2 Hours

What you will experience

You've been to parties where the DJ drops an Afrobeats set and the whole room changes energy. Ever wanted to be the one doing that? This is your chance. In this session I'll teach you the basics of DJing using a real setup, but the entire lesson is built around African music. You'll learn how to beatmatch Afrobeats, how to blend Amapiano into Afro house, how to read a room and know when to drop Wizkid versus when to play Fela. I'll show you the transitions that make people scream and the mixing techniques that keep the energy up. You don't need any DJ experience. I'll start from zero and by the end of two hours you'll be mixing tracks on your own and recording a short set you can keep. I'll also give you a starter playlist of essential Afrobeats tracks every DJ should know.
