Rhythms of Africa: Hands-On Drum Workshop
Traditional Master Drummers guide a West African & East African & Central African experience where we explore a whole rhythm through guided practice in a call and response style. Using chants and song as a guide to explore and learn together.
What you will experience
With a group of other learners you would learn in a call and response style, a whole traditional African rhythm using chant and song altogether. Music studio setting with all djembes drums provided. We will welcome you, guide the session in our own voice and make space for conversation in a mid session tea break. We’ll end by playing all that we learnt today in its entirety to a wonderful energising high vibration!
